LUIS A. VENEGAS

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Mr. Venegas founded Venegas Capital in 2011 and is responsible for managing the overall strategic direction of the firm, including, capital formation, investments, and asset management. He has over 15 years of investment banking and real estate experience, investing in, managing, structuring and executing private and capital transactions globally.

Mr. Venegas has been active in corporate and real estate investment banking since 2003. And as of 2011 he has overseen directly or indirectly through affiliated entities, the acquisition, development, redevelopment, financing, and sale of real properties.

Prior to forming Venegas Capital, Mr. Venegas was the founder and CEO of a real estate firm specializing in acquisition and divestiture of more than $ 900,000 million in real estate transactions. Mr. Venegas advised clients in the sale of office, retail and multi-family properties, assisting in valuations, and market research. He has extensive experience in all facets of real estate investments, including: complex equity and debt capital structuring, origination & development, loans, REOs auctions, and underwriting for all property classes.

Mr. Venegas also worked for American Express Financial Advisors Wealth Management Services providing financial planning, products and services, including wealth management, asset management, insurance, annuities and estate planning.

Prior to working at American Express Financial Advisors Wealth Management Services, Mr. Venegas worked for Wells Fargo and provided investment banking advisory services to clients.

EDUCATION:
Mr. Venegas earned a Bachelor’s degree in International Business from California State University, Dominguez Hills and holds and an MBA from Loyola Marymount University.
